Our Recent Industrial Flooring Projects

Quest were contracted by IFT to be a part of the team working on a major refurbishment of the Kelvin Hall project in Glasgow.

An office fit out contractor contacted Quest in regard to a flooring project that involved installing a concrete topping onto several different areas within an office premises – this included one flight of stairs, seven lift lobbies/landings and adjacent corridors; totalling 130m2 of flooring.

The client wanted a surface that was easy to clean and low maintenance but also non-slip as the flooring had to ensure the safety of the employees and visitors to the building. After listening to the client’s requirements, Quest made the decision that a concrete topping was the most viable option and a tender for the works was provided as appropriate.

Quest were contacted by a main contractor and asked to tender for works on a new build public-sector within a college facility for the installation of a resin flooring based system.

Quest were contracted to produce a specific flooring refurbishment of the linkways car park in Manchester. A project that was specifically challenging as it was to be carried out in a live environment with limited time.

Quest was asked to install a comprehensive package of flooring systems in order to completely rejuvenate the multi-story car park in the south of the UK.

This was a project in which Quest dealt with the client directly, with the aesthetics and design concept decided between the end client and Quest Industrial Flooring.

Quest were asked to tender for works from a main contractor on a project for the royal mail.

This involved the removal of existing faulty flooring and the grinding and polishing of the existing tab slab underneath to HTC Superfloor Platinum standard. Overall, the project totalled 300m2 of flooring space.

Quest was contacted by a nationwide Cash& Carry company to refurbish their tired reception floor.

Following a site survey, it was recommended to remove the vinyl tiles and grind/polish the underlying concrete substrate.

A national hair and beauty supplies wholesaler contacted Quest in regards to a flooring refurbishment project within one of their stores.

Quest were asked to tender for a flooring project in a live environment, totalling 800m2 of flooring in a busy motor vehicle workshop.

A Lancashire based global engineering manufacturer contacted Quest to advise of the best solution to refurbish their floors.

Quest were contracted by flooring contractor ART to grind and polish a newly installed Flowcrete, Classic Mondeco Terrazzo floor in the foyer of a busy museum.

HB Projects contracted Quest to replace the walkway line markings in a large Co-Op warehousing facility. This entailed removing the old-line markings and preparing the concrete substrate before re-applying the new line demarcations.

Quest were recommended by Sika to replace an old, uneven and sloping classroom floor with a brand new state of the art flooring solution for a charity based in Wallasey Merseyside.
