BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Quest were appointed to provide Altro Flexiflow flooring repairs for a busy retail environment to a 360m2 area. The flooring was required to be highly durable for public use.

OVERVIEW

Working tot he architect’s specification, Quest began by making repairs to the existing concrete floors using fast cure repair mortars.

The next stage was to mechanically grind the floor using the HTC 650 HDX connected to a HTC vacuum for a dust free operation to remove all contaminants and prepare the concrete substrate ready for the Altro Flexiflow.

The intricacy of this project involved correcting floor levels of up to 20mm to the newly installed wooden sales floor using epoxy mortars. Altro Flexiflow was then applied as per manufacturer’s specification resulting in a seamless, contemporary floor ideal to withstand the heavy foot traffic of a retail environment.

RESULTS

The customer was extremely satisfied with Quest’s expertise work and overall service.
