A national hair and beauty supplies wholesaler contacted Quest in regards to a flooring refurbishment project within one of their stores. They were specifically looking for easy-to-maintain and aesthetically pleasing flooring for a 750m2 trade supply warehouse within the Greater Manchester area.
After listening to the client’s requirements and comments, Quest suggested using Sikafloor-161 – an economic, two part low viscosity epoxy resin primer dubbed ‘comfort floor’ for the concrete substrate, offering easy application and short wait times in order to minimise interruption to the daily operations of the client’s warehouse and business.
Specified in pure white with a smooth finish, the flooring suited the end client’s requirements to impress customers with the clean, bright finish whilst remaining hard-wearing – perfect for the high-usage warehouse space.
After approval, Quest quickly acquired the relevant machinery to site to carry out the word required to create the desired floor finish, applying polyurethane liquid to the floors which offers a seamless result – to help realise the more modern creative look the client desired.
Overall, the floor system was installed well within the agreed programme times and to a very high and professional standard; something Quest pride themselves upon every time they are specified to carry out work on a project.
