    FERFA TYPE 1 - FLOOR SEAL

    – Sealed and intended for light-duty industrial dust-proofing and sealing of concrete floors and are applied via brush or roller.

    – These epoxy resin floors offer a uniform colour and are available in both matte and gloss finish

    – Potential lifespan of between 1 and 2 years before reapplication is required

    – Limited chemical protection but is easy to clean and maintain with only a vacuum or mop

    – Ideal for reception areas, classrooms, cafeterias, and changing rooms

    FERFA TYPE 2 - FLOOR COATING

    – A resin floor coating, applied in 2 or more coats via brush or roller

    – Intended for medium-duty storage rooms, warehouses, or light industrial and commercial environments

    – Lifespan of 2-3 years

    – Gives a uniform colouring that can be specified with either a matte or gloss finish

    – Can add an aggregate scatter for improved slip-resistance

    FERFA TYPE 3 - HIGH BUILD FLOOR COATING

    – Made up of a thicker coat, ranging from 300 to 1000 µm total thickness

    – Ideal solution for medium-duty industrial locations, such as warehousing, storage, assembly areas, or laboratories

    – Anticipated lifespan of up to 7 years

    – Available in both gloss silk and matte finish

    – Has good resistance to chemical spillages and decent impact resistance to heavy machinery

    – Slip potential can be reduced with an aggregate scatter

    FERFA TYPE 4 - MULTI-LAYER FLOORING

    – Aggregate-dressed ‘sandwich’ system is based on multiple layers of floor coatings or flow-applied floorings

    – Intended for medium or heavy-duty conditions

    – Good resistance to both impact and wear from heavy machinery and foot traffic

    – Available in a variety of shades depending on the aggregate used

    – Has very low slip potential, so it is ideal for busy industrial environments

    FERFA TYPE 5 - FLOW-APPLIED FLOORING

    – Poured flow-applied cementitious screed is intended for medium to heavy-duty environments, such as workshops, warehousing, and hygienic areas, such as laboratories

    – Very high resistance to all types of chemicals

    – Also known as self-levelling or self-smoothing flooring

    – Available in uniform tones, however, decorative effects and an aggregate scatter can be used to reduce the slip potential

    – Anticipated lifespan of 6 to 8 years in medium-duty areas and 3 to 4 years in heavy-duty environments

    FERFA TYPE 6 - RESIN SCREED FLOORING

    – Trowel-finished, heavily filled system that incorporates a surface seal coat to minimize porosity

    – Suitable for medium-duty areas, such as engineering workshops and other dry processing areas, as well as warehousing, storage, or general industrial environments

    – Not recommended for areas where liquid and chemical spillages due to poor chemical resistance and high slip potential

    – Available in uniform colouring, but decorative effects can be added to the surface

    – Anticipated lifespan of 10-12 years in medium-duty environments and 5 to 7 years in heavy-duty use, if the seal coat is maintained

    FERFA TYPE 7 - HEAVY-DUTY FLOWABLE FLOORING

    – Aggregate-filled system that is intended for either heavy-duty or very heavy-duty resin flooring projects, such as areas with large or heavy machinery

    – Very good impact resistance and good resistance to chemical attack

    – Decorative effects are available and it can be finished with a matte or very smooth gloss surface

    – Anticipated lifespan is 8 to 10 years in heavy-duty areas and 5 to 8 years in very heavy-duty environments

    FERFA TYPE 8 - HEAVY-DUTY SCREED FLOORING

    – Trowel-finished, aggregate-filled poured resin system designed specifically for very heavy-duty environments with very heavy loads from machinery or traffic

    – Expected lifespan of 10-12 years

    – Excellent impact and chemical resistance, with very good hygiene standards

    – Ideal for chemically hazardous environments such as research facilities or laboratories

    – Has a textured matte finish and a low slip potential on the profile

    RESIN FLOORING - UNCLASSIFIED

    – Hard-wearing, chemical-resistant, and abrasion-resistant like a concrete floor with a more decorative look
